ABOUT KIRTAN SINGH

Since 2015, Kirtan Singh has been associated with several short film projects. At least one film was produced a year to varying degrees.

Kirtan had ventured into producing Event videos, Fashion Videos, documentaries and interviews. Such products have been in colaboration with RMIT, Chetna and Sikh Community Connections.

In 2017, 'A Growing Distance', was previewed at the Sikh International Short Film Festival Australia. The film was produced straight out of high school but was a crucial step in ensuring the public knew about the up and coming films.

In 2020, Kirtan's latest film, Substitute, was selected for the Melbourne Indie Film Festival. In 2021, Unwelcome Guest was selected for four film festivals and was a semi-finalist for the Couch Film Festival.

His end of year graduation film, Russo, has been selected for festivals including: Your Way International Film Festival Official Selection, Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival Best Actor Winner and International Shorts Official Selection.

Many more films are planned to be produced in the near future.
